What’s at Stake
Major developers and publishers - including Microsoft, Blizzard, Activision, Lenovo, and others - embedded compulsion loop mechanics into games such as: Fortnite, Roblox, Minecraft, Call of Duty, FIFA / EA Sports, Apex Legends.
These mechanics were deliberately designed to keep children playing for excessive hours, often at the expense of their health, education, and family life.
Eligibility
Children who played video games more than 3 hours per week and experienced hamrs such as:
Poor sleep and fatigue
Mood issues, anxiety, or irritability
Declining school performance
Family conflict over gaming time
Evidence includes console logs, in-game usage records, screenshots, school performance records, or parent/counselor notes.
